I wanted to create what I was seeking for my own postpartum experience –“confinement,” minus the stress and rigidity.
Growing up as a Taiwanese immigrant's daughter, I absorbed my mom's wisdom about "hot" and "cold" foods, ingredients that were "good for women," and the importance of postpartum rest—even if I didn't fully understand it at the time.
When I became pregnant in my late thirties, I found myself craving that traditional care. My mom ended up cooking for me during my postpartum recovery, and while no experience with your mom is ever 100% stress-free, I was deeply grateful. Her home-cooked meals fueled my C-section recovery, supported my breastfeeding goals, and got me back on my feet. It left me thinking: all women deserve this.
Now I want to offer that same care through my love language—food that's thoughtfully crafted, rooted in tradition, but adapted to modern tastes and dietary needs. After nine months of pregnancy restrictions, the last thing you need is more rules. Let's nourish you and satiate those cravings because your joy and delight are important, too.
My Approach
My number one priority is to ensure that a new mother’s cup does not run empty. And while nourishment is more than just food, I know firsthand the power of a meal — it can make you feel treasured, satisfied, and fueled.
I offer meals based on traditional East Asian principles and guidelines, adapted to your needs and tastes. This is not a rigid dietary program or a one-size-fits-all experience. I am here to listen to what what you feel your body and mind needs.
Stress-free
The last thing you need to be worrying about in this period of time is researching, planning, buying, cooking, preparing, and cleaning. Focus on the present and allow yourself to be nourished.
